INITIAL CHALLENGE

For Christmas 2021, McDonald’s, in collaboration with Coca-Cola, wanted to pay tribute to the hosts: the people who make sure that every detail is taken care of during the festive season so that we all experience the magic of Christmas get-togethers.

STRATEGIC REFRAMING

We decided to move away from the moment of dinners and family gatherings (a scene portrayed and shown to exhaustion in these campaigns) to place the narrative in a moment that is not alluded to in these campaigns: the day after.

THE IDEA

We developed a TV and digital campaign that portrayed the hard moment that hosts are “looking forward to”: cleaning up the house after these festive feasts. And of course, the well-deserved meal at McDonald’s that we all think about the day after we’ve given our very best in the kitchen.
